5 Tricks to Finally Stop Procrastinating
Have you ever looked at your to-do list and seen the same thing sitting there… again?
You meant to do it last week.
You definitely meant to do it this week.

But every time you think about starting it, something else feels more urgent.
Work.
Emails.
Kids.
Dinner.
Laundry.
And by the time the house finally gets quiet, you’re too exhausted to start anything new.
So the thing just sits there.
Not because it’s impossible.
Not because you don’t care.
But because starting somehow feels harder than it should.
In this week’s episode of Mom Life Meets AI, I’m sharing 5 simple tricks to finally stop procrastinating and start the thing that’s been sitting on your list.
Here’s one of my favorites:
Change Your Energy First
When we feel stuck, the problem usually isn’t the task.
It’s our energy.
One of the fastest ways to shift that is music.
You’ve probably experienced it before — you’re exhausted after a long day, then a song you love comes on and suddenly you’re singing in the kitchen.
Nothing about your situation changed… but your state did.
That small shift can be enough to help you start.
And once you start, momentum builds.
The Real Secret
Most of the time procrastination isn’t about laziness.
It’s about inertia.
Just like physics teaches us with Newton’s Law of Motion:
An object in motion stays in motion.
This applies to more than just objects. The same concept works on our actions. The hardest part is starting.
Once the snowball starts rolling, it’s much easier to keep going.
